This replica Teddy bear is crafted from the highest-quality mohair and stuffed by hand with fine wood shavings. He has a sealing wax nose and hand-stitched mouth and claws. Since he is a replica, he wears a black and white ear tag with an underscored button made of patinated steel.
The Limited Edition Replica 1907 Black Teddy Bear was probably the model for subsequent black bears (such as the Mourning Bear made in1912).
