These wonderful characters are based on a New Line Cinema movie that was released in December 2007. Set in a parallel universe, at the center of The Golden Compass is Lyra, a 12-year-old girl who seeks to rescue a friend who’s been kidnapped, and unwittingly embarks on an epic quest to save all worlds. This alternate reality is populated by fierce Ice Bears, witches, and other magical creatures such as “dæmons” – talking animals that are the physical manifestation of a person’s deepest essence. The extraordinarily powerful bond between human and dæmon lies at the heart of the story of The Golden Compass.
16” Mrs. Coulter, based on an authorized likeness of Nicole Kidman, is crafted of fine quality vinyl & hard plastic; she has rooted saran hair with hand-painted eyes. Mrs. Coulter has 13 points of articulated movement; includes display stand. Mrs. Coulter uses the Tyler Wentworth articulated body with bending wrists.
12” Lyra, based on an authorized likeness of Dakota Blue Richards, is crafted of fine quality vinyl & hard plastic; her hair is rooted with curly, saran fiber, and she has hand-painted eyes. Lyra has 9 points of articulated movement and includes display stand. (Note: Lyra uses the 12" Marley Wentworth body and she can share clothing with Agnes Dreary™, Alice in Wonderland, and Dorothy)
17” Lord Asriel, based on an authorized likeness of Daniel Craig, is crafted of fine quality vinyl & hard plastic; he has wigged hair with hand-painted eyes. He has 14 points of articulated movement and includes display stand. (Note: Lord Asriel uses the 17" Matt O'Neill body and he can share clothing with Russell Williams, Basil St. John, Sean O'Neill, Prince Charming, and Peter Parker/Spider-Man - Clothing designed for superhero bodies, such as Superman/Batman/Aquaman will not fit this body type.)
